Packet Pick-Up

Friday, October 16th: 11 AM – 7 PM
Individuals who pick up their packets on Friday will be required to put their wristband on immediately and keep it on, as it will be needed for entry on Saturday. If work or other commitments prevent you from wearing your wristband for the full 24 hours please plan to pick up your packet on Race Day.
Saturday, October 17th (Race Day): 5:30 AM – 7:25 AM

READ CAREFULLY:

ARRIVE EARLY. Due to the level of high security surrounding the event, no entry into the hangar will be allowed past race start (7:30 AM), no exceptions.
DO NOT BE LATE. Late entry will not be allowed.
TSA has a no re-entry policy, do not exit the hangar after entry.

Packet Pick-Up Rules

Each individual must pick up their own race packet. A valid government physical photo ID must be presented to receive your packet. (TSA does not allow digital copies or screenshot photos on your phone of IDs. These WILL NOT be accepted – you will be turned away and not allowed to participate if you do not have your physical ID, no exceptions & no refunds.)
Parents/Guardians must pick up packets for their minor children.
Absolutely no bib number transfers, or family/friend pick-ups allowed, with the exception of your minor children (under 18).

Packet Contents

Event T-shirt
Event wristband (Participants who chose to pick up on Friday will be required to be wristbanded on-site and keep the wristband on through race day)
Bib number (must be visible on race day). Please wear your bib on the front of your shirt.

Directions & Parking

Location: American Airlines Maintenance Hangar, 4640 NW 36th Street, Building 890, Miami, FL 33166

Directions

From the East: Head west on NW 36th Street from Lejeune Road. Turn left onto NW 4900 Block and follow event parking signs.
From the West: From 826, exit onto NW 36th Street heading east. Turn right at NW 4900 Block and follow event parking signs.

Parking

Friday, October 16th

Parking for Packet Pick Up will only be available at the Main Parking/Lot 1 next to the hangar.

Saturday, October 17th – Both lots will open at 5:30 AM

Entrance to Main Parking / Lot 1: Located at NW 36th Street and 4900 Block (cross street). Follow event parking signs.
Entrance to Secondary Parking / Lot 2: Located on Oakwood Drive, between Ragan Drive and Sheridan Drive. The lot is 0.6 miles/960m from Packet Pick Up.
Parking in Lot 2 requires shuttle transportation to the event entrance. The shuttle service is free.
- 5:30 AM – Parking Opens
- 5:45 AM – First Shuttle Departs
- 7:10 AM – Last Shuttle to the hangar for Packet Pick-Up
- 10:45 AM – Last Shuttle to and from the hangar

If you are parking in Lot 2, please allow yourself sufficient time from race start to make sure you are not late.

What to Bring

Allowed Items: Phones & Race Armbands (Subject to search, TSA will have final say on what is allowed)
Not Allowed: Bags of any kind, including backpacks, fanny packs, or purses
No gear check is available, leave all valuables at home.

Security Screening Guidelines

To ensure a safe and secure event, please review and follow the security instructions as per TSA:

Runway Access: Your Bib number and wristband must be worn and visible at all times. Bibs must be worn on the front of your shirt. Runners without both their bib and wristband will not be permitted on the course.
No Race Day Registration: Race day registration is closed for both the 5K and Spectator options. No new entries will not be accepted under any circumstances. (Strict TSA Policy) No exceptions.
Security Vetting: Miami International Airport/TSA will be running a security check on all registrants. The information provided during the registration process will be used to grant entry into the event.
Security Questions: Ensure you have answered all security questions on Run Sign Up, including providing your citizenship status and either the last four digits of your social security number or your country of origin and passport number.
Government ID Requirements: Valid government physical photo ID must be presented to receive your packet. (TSA does not allow digital copies or screenshot photos on your phone of IDs. Packet Pick-Up: Each participant must pick up their own race packet to verify their identity. Parents must pick up for their minor children.
Minor Children: Parents/Guardians must pick up packets for their minor children. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Strollers: Strollers are allowed on course. If you will be running with a stroller please position yourself at the back of the corral. Strollers will be subject to inspection at race entry.
No Gear Check: There will be no gear check available. Leave valuables at home.
Bags Prohibited: No bags of any kind (e.g., backpacks, fanny packs, or purses) are allowed. We strongly advise against bringing additional items. Water and post-race nutrition will be provided so there is no need to bring your own.
K-9 Units: K-9 units will be on-site. No animals are allowed.
No Bib Transfers: Transferring bib numbers to others is strictly prohibited.
Spectator Registration: Everyone entering into the event must be registered. Spectators will be limited to designated areas with no runway or First Class Lounge access. Bleachers will be available.
Spectator Wristband Pick Up: Each spectator is required to pick up and wear their event wristband. All rules are regulations apply to spectators.

Start Line & Race Course

Please listen carefully for announcements and follow event staff instructions to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Runner Waiting Area: All runners will be directed to the Runner Corral before heading to the start line.
Required for Runway Access: Your Bib number and wristband must be worn and visible at all times. Bibs must be worn on the front of your shirt. Runners without both their bib and wristband will not be permitted on the course.
First-Class Upgrade: First Class Runners will be escorted to the front of the start line at 7:10 AM. If you miss the escort, you’ll join the start line with the other participants.
There is one (1) water station that will be passed twice.

Course Markings

The course will be marked with cones, mile markers, and arrows. Please stay on the marked course at all times. The airport will be active and nearby runways and taxiways will be operational. For everyone’s safety and security, do not enter areas outside the course.
