  • Friday, October 17 (Schedule 11 AM – 6 PM)
  • Saturday, October 18 (Schedule 6 AM –  7:25 AM)

Arrive early. The hangar closes at race start – no exceptions. Late entry will not be allowed due to runway opening.

  • Once inside, no re-entry is permitted by TSA
  • DO NOT BE LATE:  Once TSA closes the Hanger door at 7:30am, no late arrivals will be allowed to enter.

Packet Pick-up Rules

  • Each individual participant and spectator must pick up their own race packet with a valid ID. (TSA does not allow digital copies, photocopies, screenshots of IDs, and/or photos of IDs on your phone. These WILL NOT be accepted, you will NOT receive your packet, and entry will be denied.)
  • Parents/Guardians may pick up packets for their minor children.
  • No bib number transfers, or family/friend pick-ups allowed. No Exceptions.

Packet Contents:

  • Bib Number
  • Wristband – Participants – who chose to pick-up on Friday will be required to be wristbanded on-site.
  • Event T-shirt

Race Registration & Event Arrival

  • Registration Closes: Wednesday, October 15th at midnight or once we reach our capacity of registrants
  • NO race day registration will be accepted due to security vetting. No exceptions.

What to Bring:

  • Valid government physical ID (TSA does not allow digital copies, photocopies, screenshots of IDs, and/or photos of IDs on your phone. These WILL NOT be accepted, you will NOT receive your packet, and entry will be denied).
  • Only running armbands are allowed (subject to search).
  • No gear check is available; leave valuables at home.

Security Screening Guidelines

To ensure a safe and secure event, please review and follow the security instructions below.

  • Ensure you have answered all security questions on Run Sign Up, including providing your citizenship status and either the last four digits of your social security number or your country of origin and passport number.
  • Minor Children: Parents/Guardians must register their minor children. Older children who are running, must be registered to participate on the runway.
  • Strollers are allowed, but please position yourself at the back of the corral
  • All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • No Race Day Registration: Race day registration (5K or Spectator) will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Security Vetting: MIA will use the information provided during registration to vet participants and grant access to the runway.
  • Registration Deadline: Registration will close on Wednesday, October 15th or once the event is sold out. No exceptions will be made after registration closes.
  • No Gear Check: There will be no gear check available, so please leave valuables at home.
  • Prohibited Bags: No bags of any kind (e.g., backpacks, fanny packs, or purses) are allowed. We strongly advise against bringing additional items. Water and post-race nutrition will be provided, so there is no need to bring your own.
  • K-9 Units: K-9 units will be on-site. No pets or service animals are allowed at the event.
  • Valid ID Required: You must bring a valid physical ID (TSA does not allow digital copies or photos on your phone of IDs these CANNOT be accepted). Without a valid ID, entry will be denied.
  • Packet Pick-Up: Each participant must pick up their own race packet to verify their identity. Parents may pick up for their minor children (the child must be present).
  • No Bib Transfers: Transferring bib numbers to others is strictly prohibited.
  • No Friend/Family Pick-Ups: Individuals must pick up their own packets. No exceptions will be made, except for parents picking up for their minor children, who must be present.
  • Spectator Registration: Spectators must also register and complete the security screening questions. Their access is limited to designated areas, with no access to the runway for any reason. Bleachers will be available for cheering on participants.
  • Spectator Wristbands: Spectators will need to pick up their individual wristbands to enter the hangar. A valid ID will be required. Parents/Guardians can pick up wristbands for their minor children.

These security measures help ensure a safe and smooth experience for all participants and spectators. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Check-in at registration tent and pick up a security wristband.

  • Parents/Guardians can pick up wristbands for their minor children.
  • Bring your valid government physical ID (TSA does not allow digital copies, photocopies, screenshots of IDs, and/or photos of IDs on your phone. These WILL NOT be accepted, you will NOT receive your packet, and entry will be denied.)
  • Wristbands allow access to the hangar but not the runway. Designated areas will be available for spectators to cheer on runners.
  • Prohibited Bags: No bags of any kind (e.g., backpacks, fanny packs, or purses) are allowed. We strongly advise against bringing additional items.

  • Hangar Door: TSA closes door at race start, no late arrivals will be allowed to enter.

Main Parking Entrance:
NW 36th Street and 4900 Block (cross street)

Directions

  • From the East: Head west on NW 36th Street from Lejeune Road. Turn left onto NW 4900 Block and follow event parking signs.
  • From the West: From 826, exit onto NW 36th Street heading east. Turn right at NW 4900 Block and follow event parking signs.

Start Line & Race Route

  • Runners will be corralled before heading to the start line.
  • Required for Runway Access: Your Bib number and wristband. Without both, access will be denied. YOUR BIB NUMBER AND WRISTBAND MUST BE VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES.
  • First-Class participants will be escorted to the front of the start line at 7:10 AM. if you are late you will have to access start line with the rest of the participants
  •  One (1) water station you will pass by two (2) times

Course Markings

The course will be marked with cones, mile markers, and arrows. Do not venture outside the marked course as security will be strict.
