Race Day Schedule

No on-site registration. TMB Flight is SOLD OUT – Thank you all for your support of the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Campaign.

6:00 AM Parking and Packet Pick-up open
7:20 AM Pre-Race Program Begins
7:30 AM Race Start
7:45 AM Start Line Closes
8:45 AM Awards Ceremony
10:00 AM Event ends

Parking

Participants will park in the grass field in front of the WING OVER MIAMI AIR MUSEUM and walk across the road to packet pick up and the start/finish line.

Packet Pick-Up

April 8th – 6:00 AM – 7:25 AM

  • Location – Inside Wings Over Miami Museum Hangar

Runners will pick-up the following:

  • Race Bib Number
  • Event T-shirt

What to bring:

  • Valid ID – No ID, no access to the event
  • Phone

Course

Start Line:
Runners will be corralled prior to heading out to the start line. To gain access to the runway and the 5K you must have both your bib number fully visible on the front of your body. You may be denied access if you do not follow these instructions.

Water Station:
We will have one (1) water stop on course that you will pass twice at approximately mile 1.25 and 2.25

Security Screening

Confirm you have answered all the questions on the registration platform, and you have provided your citizenship status, last 4 digits of your social security number and/or passport number. If an issue or clarification arises, we will contact you. Airport will run a security check on all registered participants with this information.

 Rules & Guidelines

  • Each person must pick-up their own race packet. Friend or family are not permitted to pick up for others.
  • Parents/Guardians will be allowed to pick-up minors.
  • Airport security will use the information provided at the time of registration for vetting and security purposes.
  • No bags of any kind will be allowed on site (i.e. BACKPACKS, PURSES).
  • You may bring small fanny packs or arm bands to carry small items.
  • There is no gear check. Please leave valuables at home.
  • If you do not have a valid ID, you will not be allowed access to the event.
  • K-9 units will be on-site.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Spectators do not have access to the runway.
  • All minor children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

SECURED SUROUNDING AREAS:

Please DO NOT venture outside the designated run course area. Stay off the grass. This is a secure area, there will be no re-entry. Once you have received your packet and checked in you will not be allowed back to your car. Please make sure you have everything you need prior to entering the main event area.

Vintage planes will be on display, please respect museum rules and do not touch any of the displays. You will be asked to leave if you do not comply. Please make sure children follow these rules as well. No climbing or touching any of the exhibits.

Postrace

Gear check will NOT be available. Do not store, hide, or leave any personal items along or near the racecourse, including the start and finish areas. You are responsible for safely storing your gear offsite prior to the race. Any items left unattended will be removed from the area and will not be made available later.

  • Male/Female 1st Place/Wheelchair Athlete
  • Male/Female – 1st/2nd/3rd place winners. Overall Age Group Awards, 14U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

Festivities/Nutrition:

  • MICHELOB ULTRA providing complimentary beer.
  • WAWA will provide post-race snacks.

Photos:

Wawa is providing FREE race photos. These will be available to download on the event website. Availability will take up to 5 -7 business days.
