Race Day Schedule (subject to change)

5:00 PM – Parking and Packet Pick-Up Open
6:30 PM – Race Start
6:40 PM – Start Line Closes: 10 minutes post race start
7:30 PM – Awards Ceremony

Parking

Participants will park on-site. Once you enter through the gate located on NW 151 Street and NW 37th Avenue, please follow our parking staff for instructions.

We strongly encourage participants to arrive early to allow ample time for parking and to avoid potential traffic delays before the race begins.

Ride Share:
If you are arriving via Uber, Lyft or being dropped off, please proceed to the designated drop-off area at the event entrance and inform staff or Police that you are being dropped off so you can be directed appropriately. To help keep traffic flowing, please have your driver follow staff instructions and avoid stopping in undesignated areas.

Packet Pick-Up

On-Site – Race Day – 5:00 PM – 6:25 PM

Runners will pick up the following:

  • Race Bib Number
  • Event T-shirt

Spectators will pick up the following:

  • Wristband

Course

5K Course Map

5K Course Description:
A single loop course begins and ends near the airport’s east end. Runners will head west on taxiway “N” and then turn right onto Runway 9L-27 R. A final turn right near the easternmost airplane blast zone as you head back to where the run started.

5K (3.1 Miles)
Water Station Locations:
1.25 miles
2.5 miles

10K Course Map

10K Course Description:
A single loop out and back course beginning and ending near the east end of the airport. Runners will head west on taxiway “N” then turn right onto Runway 9L-27 R and head east. Runners will split off from the 5K course at approximately 3 miles, then make a U-turn at the easternmost airplane blast zone. Backtrack on the Runway westbound and back onto the taxiway for a straightaway finish back to where the run started.

10K (6.2 Miles)

1.25 miles
2.5 miles
3.5 miles
5 miles

Recommended Headlamps:
For runners of the 10K, headlamps are not required, but they are highly encouraged. The course will NOT have overhead lighting. Runway edge lights will be turned on to their highest intensity. However, this is merely for guidance. Sunset is at 7:45 PM, and Civil Twilight ends at 8:09 PM, which basically means you can no longer see any daylight.

Security Screening & Requirements

Please confirm that you have answered all the questions on the registration platform and provided your citizenship status, the last four digits of your social security number, and/or passport number. If an issue arises, we will contact you. The airport will run a security check on all registered participants prior to the event.


AIRPORT
RULES & GUIDELINES:

  • Each Person must pick up their own race packet. Friends and family are NOT permitted to pick up for others.
  • Parents/Guardians will be allowed to pick up race packets for their minor children.
  • There is NO GEAR CHECK. Please leave all valuables at home
  • NO bags of any kind will be allowed on site (i.e., BACKPACKS, PURSES).
  • You may bring small fanny packs or armbands to carry small items such as phone and ID.
  • If you do not have a valid ID, you will not be allowed access to the event. Digitized copies or photos of IDs are not accepted as valid forms of identification while boarding a plane; therefore, they are not acceptable proof of identification.
  • K-9 working dogs will be on-site.
  • NO pets allowed. For the safety and comfort of all participants, pets are not permitted at the event. This policy includes emotional support animals, which do not meet the definition of service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). An exception is made only for service animals individually trained to carry out specific tasks for individuals with disabilities. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
  • Spectators do not have access to the runway.
  • An adult must accompany all minor children at ALL TIMES


AIRPORT SECURED SURROUNDING AREAS:

Please DO NOT venture outside the designated run course area. Stay off the grass. This is a secure area. Follow all instructions from police officers, airport, and race staff.

Post-Race

NO Gear Check:
Gear check will NOT be available. Do not store, hide, or leave any personal items along or near the race course, including the start and finish areas. You are responsible for safely storing your gear off-site prior to the race. Any items left unattended will be removed from the area and will not be made available later.

Post-Race Food:
Make sure to hold on to your race bib after you cross the finish line. Your bib will serve as your ticket for post-race food, so be sure to keep it with you.

Age Group Award Categories:

  • Male/Female – Overall/Prize Money for 1st Place only
  • Male/Female – Age Group Awards:  9u,10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 75+

Post-Race Photos:
Free race photos will be available for download on the website after the race.

It may take up to 5-7 business days for the photos to be available.
