6:00 AM – Parking and Packet Pick-up open
7:20 AM – Pre-Race Program Begins
7:30 AM – Race Start
8:45 AM – Awards Ceremony

Parking

On-site parking is located across from Wings Over Miami Air Museum. Participants will park in the grass field in front of the WING OVER MIAMI AIR MUSEUM and walk across the road to packet pick up and the start/finish line. NO PARKING IS PERMITTED at Wings Over Miami air Museum

Ride Share

If you choose to use a ride share service, the drop off / pick up location is: Wings Over Miami Air Museum: 14710 SW 128th St, Miami, FL 33196.

Packet Pick-Up

Race Day – On-Site:  6:00 AM – 7:25 AM

  • Location – Inside Wings Over Miami Museum Hangar – Do not enter the building or touch the vintage airplanes on display. Please respect the Museum rules.

Runners will pick-up the following:

  • Race Bib Number
  • Event T-shirt

What to bring:

  • Valid ID 

Course

Start Line:
Runners will be corralled prior to heading out to the start line. To gain access to the runway and the 5K you must your bib number fully visible on the front of your body.

Water Stop:
We will have one (1) water stop on the course that you will pass twice at approximately mile 1.25 and 2.25

Security Screening

Confirm that you have answered all the questions on the registration platform and provided your citizenship status, the last four digits of your social security number, and/or passport number. If an issue arises we will contact you. The airport will run a security check on all registered participants with this information.

 Rules & Guidelines

  • Each person must pick-up their own race packet. Friend or family are NOT permitted to pick up for others.
  • Airport security will use the information provided at the time of registration for vetting and security purposes.
  • There is NO GEAR CHECK. Please leave valuables at home
  • NO bags of any kind will be allowed on site (i.e. BACKPACKS, PURSES).
  • You may bring small fanny packs or arm bands to carry small items such as phone and ID.
  • If you do not have a valid ID, you will not be allowed access to the event.
  • Parents/Guardians will be allowed to pick-up minors.
  • K-9 units will be on-site.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Spectators do not have access to the runway.
  • All minor children must be accompanied by an adult at ALL TIMES

SECURED SUROUNDING AREAS:

Please DO NOT venture outside the designated run course area. Stay off the grass. This is a secure area, there will be no re-entry. Once you have received your packet and checked in you will not be allowed back to your car. Please make sure you have everything you need prior to entering the main event area.

Vintage planes will be on display, please respect museum rules and do not touch any of the displays. You will be asked to leave if you do not comply. Please make sure children follow these rules as well. No climbing or touching any of the exhibits.

Post-Race

NO Gear Check:

Gear check will NOT be available. Do not store, hide, or leave any personal items along or near the race course, including the start and finish areas. You are responsible for safely storing your gear offsite prior to the race. Any items left unattended will be removed from the area and will not be made available later.

Age Group Award Categories:

  • Male/Female 1st Place/Wheelchair Athlete
  • Male/Female – Overall Winners/Prize Money for 1st Place.
  • Male/Female –  Age Group Awards: 9U 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 75+

 Post-Race Photos:

Free race photos will be available for download on the website after the race. (May take up to 5 -7 business days for these photos to be available)
